Shan Wolfe (she/they) first had their mind blown by yoga during a meditation led by a college dance professor. The cue was to "imagine as if you are melting down into the earth" and Shan felt just that. Thus, she believed in magic and her relationship with yoga was born. Shan uses yoga to relieve chronic pain, connect with her inner child, and return to a flow state where her higher self is known to reside. During her classes, she works with kids to co-create an original flow influenced by their imagination (animal noises are encouraged). Shan hopes to combine her future Masters of Social Work degree from UIC, acting chops from Green Shirt Studio, embodiment practice from Chicago School of Burlesque and her 200 hour YTT from Zen Yoga Garage into a skill set that inspires healing and silly, fun times.
