Tricia Malovey (she/her) is a former ELL (English Language Learner) Educator. While working with the K-8th Refugee/Immigrant/ Newcomer population, she quickly became aware of the need for children to feel safe and accepted through movement, breath, and community. Tricia has been teaching yoga for five years and received her 95 Hour Children’s Yoga Certificate through Mission Propelle. Her goal is to encourage children to feel strong in mind and body, build confidence, and gain strategies that can be used on and off the mat. In her free time, Tricia enjoys spending time outdoors, playing any sport, traveling, dancing, and cooking.
