Emotions: Apathetic, Sad, Lonely, Discouraged, Depressed

In this quadrant, we hope to open up our hearts and speak our truth! When we feel down and alone it can be challenging to ask for help when we need it, even if that help is just needed space. While we can’t force ourselves out of a feeling we can claim it and speak how we want to shift from that emotion into existence.

Poses like Setubandasana (Bridge Pose) quite literally lift us up. Our hips are opening which can help us navigate our feelings. Our chest is expanding to the sky, inviting in love and support from our communities.
